Oranges Raspberry & Chocolate

This simple and healthy dessert is a delicious way to get your vitamin C without any guilt. When you add a dessert to dinner, you can create a satisfying meal without having to prepare a side dish, and the perfect dessert can be the key to preventing late-night snacking and satisfying your sweet tooth.




70% or above dark chocolate


Vegetable peeler, grater, or knife


Slice an orange and then trim the orange peel from the orange flesh.

Arrange the orange slices on a plate and layer with raspberries.

Using a vegetable peeler shave a piece of dark chocolate, 70% or 72% recommended for flavor.  Tip- shave on the edge of the chocolate bar to create longer shavings of chocolate, and often this will curl the chocolate, which looks pretty. 

Alternatively, you can use a grater or knife to shave the chocolate. 

This dish can be stored in the refrigerator for several days if the raspberries remain fresh. 

 I often cook "au pif", as we say in France, which means without a recipe.  You’ll find this style of cooking helps you cook faster and makes cooking easier. With many recipes, you don’t need exact measurements, just a little kitchen intuition.
